What's Your Diet IQ?

To lower your cholesterol, you should eat..

A. Dried Apples
B. Hard-boiled eggs
C. Coconut Oil

Answer - A. According to a study funded by the USDA, those who ate 2.5 ounces of dried apples every day for six months reduced their bad cholesterol levels by 23 percent. They also lost 3.3 pounds on average. It's speculated that pectin, a soluble fiber found in apples binds with cholesterol in the intestine to prevent absorption into the body, while making you feel more full.
